It was good to see a number of members at the chess.com club night on the 15th September. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances a number of players only managed to get one or two games instead of three. As the organiser of the events I try to keep an eye on the number of players registering to play before the event to keep an even number of participants. This prevents byes having to be taken. Will you therefore try to register to play at least 5 minutes before the start of play to allow me time to sort out numbers. This will make our club night more enjoyable for all those participating and allow maximum playing time for everyone. Thank you all and hope to see you at the next chess.com club night on Tuesday.
