The chess season is over and it is time for the Summer Tournament once again. I have spoken to quite a number of you over the last couple of weeks and everyone has commented on how much they enjoyed the last one. So we will be arranging another one this summer along the same lines

To those new to the club, this consisted of splitting the people interested in taking part into teams. Each team played a match against each of the other teams, but the players did not play in ranked order. The opponents from the other team were picked at random, so people were ofyen playing other club members that they had rarely encountered.

Can you please let me know if you would like to take part in the tournament this summer (dino.deosa@infor.com). When I have heard from everyone I will split you up into teams (keeping them as evenly matcthed as possible) and publish the dates on which the games will be played etc.
