For this year's pre-season social evening, we have arranged a friendly match between Stratford Chess Club and Redditch/Evesham Chess Club, to be held on the 25th of August (next Tuesday). We will be providing sandwiches, snacks and light refreshments.

We will once again be presenting the club trophies and prizes at the social evening prior to match start. Please arrive before 19:30 for the presentations at 19:30.

The match will start at 19:45 with a time control of 70/10 and a toss for colours.

I have attached a working team list which is subject to change. Where we have Stratford players without an opposition, we will infill from our side to the Redditch/Evesham side.

Just a couple of further announcements. The League fixtures are out now, and most of the rescheduling that goes on is now complete. Please refer initially to the club fixtures list while the LMS updates catch up. Finally, don’t forget to pay your membership subscription and renew your ECF membership.
