Paul Davies

Further to my email of 25th August, 14 members have now paid their club subscription and 12 players have joined the ECF directly.

Anyone wishing to pay their club subscription by BACS/electronic banking, please email me for details of the club's bank account.

If you would prefer to pay by cheque and do not think that you will see me now the season has started, please leave an envelope containing your cheque (with "Annual Subscription" written on the envelope) inside the club cabinet on the top shelf whenever you are next at the club (your team captain can show you where the cabinet is). Cheques payable to Stratford-upon-Avon Chess Club (£8 full members/£5 for over 65s). No cash please by this method.

For those who would like to play league chess, there is also a separate fee due to the English Chess Federation and, as resolved at the club AGM this year, anyone not having joined the ECF by the end of September will not be eligible to play for a league team.

If you do not want to play league chess, only a club subscription is payable.

If you have never joined the ECF before:

Or for those who need to renew their ECF membership:

I hope this covers everything but, if you have any questions, please email me.

Thanks

Paul
