Club Policies

The club has a number of policies in order to fulfill its legal and Social obligations.

The club respectfully askes that all members and visitors to the club act in accordance with the policies. The club policies are set out below:

The Club Constitution

The club constitution is to encourage the playing of chess in Stratford-on-Avon District, both socially and to form representative teams to play in Regional Chess leagues and competitions, as set out in the Constitution Document.

Privacy Policy

All personal data held within the 'Club Membership' is treated confidentially and in compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR). The information may be used by the membership as set out in the Privacy Policy Statement.

Safeguarding Policy

Stratford Chess Club has a Safeguarding Policy which will apply to all members of, and visitors to, the club when undertaking Club activities. The policy is in accordance with the English Chess Federation’s English Chess Federation Safguarding Child Policy Statement, which is available for viewing on the English Chess Federation website. As a responsible organisation we ensure that we have a club environment where members feel valued, respected and included.
