Stratford Chess Club will be holding a pre-season social evening on Thursday 31st August.

At the recent Club AGM, it was agreed to invite Leamington Chess Club to join us for the occasion of an inter-club friendly. Our invitation was warmly received but unfortunately, Leamington has been unable to assemble a team. An alternative event will be held on the night so please make every effort to join us.

We will once again be presenting the club trophies and prizes at the social evening. With this in mind will all team captains please confirm the best performing team player for the previous season ASAP.

Nominations are invited for the All-Round Performance Trophy. The trophy is usually awarded in recognition of members that have performed well or have helped the club in some way.
