41st Annual Kidlington Chess Tournament, 3 and 4th February 2018
The 41st Annual Kidlington Chess Tournament will be held at Exeter Hall Kidlington
on Saturday and Sunday 3rd and 4th of February 2018.
There are 4 sections: Open,Under 180, Under 145 and Under 120.

There are two events in this two-day fest of speed chess that features Open, under-2000, under-1750 and under-1500 sections with a first prize of £500 in the Open Rapidplay.

The Blitz Tournament starts at 9pm on Saturday and has 9 rounds with a time control of 3 minutes plus a 2-second increment for each move.

The Rapidplay has 9 rounds starting on Saturday at 1pm. Rounds 1 to 5 take place on Saturday finishing at about 7pm. Rounds 6 to 9 are played on Sunday starting at 11am and finishing at about 4pm. The time control is 15 minutes plus a 10-second increment for each move.

ECF Silver members can savour all the action from £30.
